Hand-pulled editions

The Hand-pulled print is a fine-art method of hand crafting multiples images. The difference from offset, digital and hand-pulled prints lies in the process. With an original hand-pulled print, the artist first creates the image, using various methods and techniques on a plate or screen (a surface that holds an impression/etch/stencil) of the image, then inks and applies it to another surface (typically paper or fabric). The print is then (pulled) through the inking process either by hand or with a mechanical hand-cranked press, not by means of a digital printer. In this method, original prints are hand created, individually. No two are precisely the same, and they typically exist within a very limited edition.
